Our mission appears to have been a success. After spending several days surveilling the abandoned factory and covertly setting up a series of remotely operated explosives, we waited for the gun smugglers and their prospective buyers to arrive for their scheduled rendezvous. When the two parties arrived, precisely at midnight last night, and we were able to positively ID the leader of the gun smugglers, Vasili Salenko, a known Russian arms dealer, we set off the charges taking down most of the targets. Then, using night vision optics, and close quarter tactics, we picked off the rest. Once the sight was secured, we quickly scooped up the diamonds, grabbed a case of weapons and ammo, and fled the scene as we heard sirens approaching. Having already anonymously tipped off the national police force, we could only hope that the rest of the weapons would end up in the proper hands.

Despite our best efforts, it seems evident that our operation in Donetsk did not go without a hitch. Chatter on the dark web indicates that Vasili Salenko somehow survived and is seeking revenge. He has offered a reward for information on the hit in Donetsk. It appears we may have some cleaning up to do. Unfortunately, I have been unable to track him down. So I have contacted an old friend of mine, Georg Rudek. Georg and I go way back and though he has a rather shady past, he has proven to be a very useful ally in intelligence gathering, particularly in the area of arms dealing in eastern Europe. If anyone can track down Vasili Salenko, Georg can, and Georg owes me a favor.

It is done. Thanks to the resources of Georg Rudek, we were able to locate Vasili Salenko in Yerevan, as he was laying low in a den far from the beaten path. Using a warehouse and shipping business as a cover, he was attempting to rebuild his network. But, once again, we spent a few days surveilling the place and devising a plan. When we were ready, we used a combination of subterfuge, stealth and sound combat tactics to cripple and eliminate our targets.
After I cutoff communications to the warehouse, Alexei went in posing as a potential customer to speak with Vasili and distract him. Watkins then set off several tear gas canisters from a rigged truck inside the warehouse, while we moved in and surrounded the warehouse. Using silencers, we took out the guards around the warehouse and donned our gas masks. It was then a simple matter of picking off the enemy one by one as they struggled against the tear gas. Vasili and his two bodyguards proved to be slightly more challenging. But this time we made sure to put a bullet in his brain. One of the mooks managed to get past us and make a run for it. But Tony chased him down and finished him with a knife. When it was over, we staged the scene to make it look like a local gang had made the hit.
